Hello and welcome! Please check out the Frequently Asked Questions section, below, which covers everything from custom artwork requests, returns, and shipping.

 

I WOULD LOVE A DRAWING OF MY PUP... DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM WORK?

I love to create a special custom pieces of art, when not working on growing Artwork by AK and as time permits. My availability for custom work varies. Please check this site's Commissions page for more information and to purchase. You may also contact me directly with a custom order request.

 

CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE COLORS OR CHANGE A WORD ON SOMETHING FOR ME?

Unless otherwise stated in the description, all items are available only in the design, colors and size described in the listing. I realize it may be disappointing that I can’t customize these in all of the many ways requested, but I must have time to design and print more great drawings we (and you) love!


HOW FAST WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Fulfillment time for orders (custom work excluded) is typically 3-5 business days. 

I'll try to get your order out sooner than that, but sometimes I get backed up, especially during the holiday season. Sometimes items will be shipped separately. If you need an item sent quickly to make a special occasion, please let me know and I’ll try my hardest to work something out.  

 

WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?

I generally ship packages and return emails from 8am-6pm Eastern, Monday-Friday excluding major holidays. If you contact me regarding your order outside of those hours, I'll get back to you as soon as I'm able.

 

HOW WILL MY ORDER SHIP AND HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

I will ship U.S. domestic orders via USPS unless you have chosen another option at checkout. Since I ship from New Hampshire it can sometimes take 6+ business days for packages to reach the West Coast, but the USPS does not guarantee delivery within a certain timeframe (so I can’t either, unfortunately).

Tracking information and delivery timeframes will vary during spikes in the holiday season.


CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

I understand it's comforting to be able to see where your package is in its journey, and when its due to arrive. When your order ships a tracking number will be provided to you in a confirmation email. Priority packages can technically be tracked, but the USPS isn’t required to scan them upon arrival at each destination, which means the tracking info is fairly unreliable.

Tracking information and delivery timeframes will vary during spikes in the holiday season.


DO YOU SHIP TO THE EU AND NORTHERN IRELAND?

As of December 13th, 2024 the new GPSR regulations were enforced and are painfully difficult for myself, and many other artists and small businesses to follow. As a result I am unfortunately no longer selling to the EU and NI. 

As a small business, the new legislations of the GPSR are overwhelmingly to implement and the costs involved are too much for an artist just trying to get by. I thank each and every one of my EU and NI customers for your support of my artistry and love of creating. I am deeply sorry that it has come to this decision. 

 
WHAT’S YOUR RETURN POLICY FOR PAPER ITEMS LIKE CARDS, ART PRINTS, AND GIFT TAGS?

I do not refund for items lost by the post office in transit or delivered to the wrong address by USPS error.

I will accept an exchange or issue a refund for your item if you’re not happy with it, or it gets smushed in the mail. Please contact me for prior authorization of any returns.

I will cover the cost of re-shipping if:

  • your order arrived damaged.
  • an item other than one you ordered was received 

I ask that you to cover the cost of re-shipping if:

  • you seek a replacement or an exchange for reasons other than damage or loss as described above.
  • you provided an incorrect shipping address at checkout.

*All refunds and exchanges will be processed upon receipt of the item in it's original condition. Shipping will only be refunded if the entire package arrived damaged or the package was lost in the mail.*

 

WHAT ABOUT RETURNS FOR APPAREL & DRINKWARE?

Wrong size:
If you're unhappy with the size you've received, first check that the size stated on the garment matches the size stated on the sizing chart. Though rare, it's possible that the garment was mis-labelled. If that's the case, let us know and I'll get you sorted out.

If you'd like a different size:
As a size guide is provided with each garment description, I only offer exchanges for buyer's remorse in extreme cases and reserve the right to refuse such a request. If an exchange is approved, you are responsible for the return shipping cost of the returned item and the shipping cost of the replacement item. A replacement item will only be shipped once the return item is received. Once received, the replacement garment will be shipped within the processing times outlined under the SHIPPING terms section.

WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

All paper items like cards, prints and gift tags are small batch printed by me at my New Hampshire studio, using the highest quality of papers and archival inks. Select items like mugs and apparel are designed by me and then made by U.S. manufacturing partners and U.S. drop-ship companies.
